The core team of IMAGELEAP is characterized by broad cultural backgrounds, multilingual credentials and a wide range of working experiences in fields that rely heavily on images and visual elements. We bring to IMAGELEAP an outstanding and complete range of skills and sensitivities that is uncommon in a field dominated by "techies". At the same time our technological expertise ensures a product that is excellent in quality and incorporates the latest innovation in digital imaging and information management.

The team is enriched by the support of outside consultants who are called in to contribute their expertise according to the needs of a particular project or client: art historians, expert appraisers, technicians, photographers, copy writers, web-site designers.

RUGGERO VANNI was born in Paris and has been living in New York City since 1980. He studied Fine Arts and Graphic Design both in Italy and at the Cooper Union in New York. He is active as a painter and his work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in Europe and the US. As a photographer he has created the Vanni Archive, a collection of over 60,000 slides focusing on art, architecture and world travel. Since the mid-80's he has chosen the computer to create architectural renderings, animations, and to manage his work as well as his photo archives.

FLAVIA DESTEFANIS is originally from Italy. She lived around the world before landing in New York where she studied at Columbia University, earning a Masters Degree in Comparative Literature. She has been involved in communications, publishing and marketing for 20 years. As VP of Public Affairs at Rizzoli Corporation she helped launch The Journal of Art and market its publications and bookstores. She was Director of Marketing and Communications at the design firm Vignelli Associates and regularly consults with architects, designers, publishers, galleries, artists, and businesses on communications and marketing issues, with a specialty in web design, content development and implementation.

VALENTINA PUCCIONI was born in Florence and received her Masters in Art History from the University of Siena. For five years she worked on the ambitious project set up by the Corbis Corporation, a Bill Gates enterprise, to create the world's largest digital archive of images. Her work as consultant to the project consisted in researching over 20,000 images of art, archaeology and architecture from different periods and areas of the world and integrating them into the database.
